Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (LPN/RN) at Advanced Home Health Care

Advanced Home Health Care is hiring Pediatric Private Duty Nurses (RNs and LPNs) to provide compassionate, one-on-one nursing care to children in their homes throughout the Southeast Iowa area.

With starting pay at $25/hour, negotiable based on experience, flexible scheduling, and primarily daytime shifts, this is a great opportunity for nurses looking to make a meaningful difference while maintaining flexibility in their workday.

Suggested responsibilities:

• Provide individualized, one-on-one nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes
• Monitor patient conditions, document care, and communicate changes to the RN Case Manager
• Administer medications and perform skilled nursing procedures as directed by the patient's care plan and within the nurse's scope of practice
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, consistent care
• Educate and support families regarding patient care needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established safety and infection control procedures

Suggested qualifications:

• Active Iowa LPN or RN license
• New graduates encouraged to apply
• LPNs currently pursuing their RN are welcome
• Pediatric or home health experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach

Salary and Benefits:

Starting Wage: $25/hr, negotiable based on experience.
